A kayak adventure is setting out on the open water. Freedom to paddle the shoreline to see nature up close. Enjoy a picnic lunch floating in your kayak or stop at one of the lake front restaurants. Take a break from paddling and enjoy one of the sandy beaches along the shoreline. Be prepared to have fun and create a memory.
Whether you are a local or just visiting, some of our locations offer things to do on-the-lake while you are kayaking, as well as entertainment when you are through kayaking. Stay around and check out some of the local lake attractions such as shopping, dining, wineries and breweries, and some of the live outdoor patio music!

Dog Beach
From Matoska Park paddle north along the shoreline to Memorial Beach for a quick swim or bathroom break. For those with a furry friend along who wants to splash in the water, White Bear Dog Beach is to the left of the boat launch.
One of the city’s landmarks, Manitou Island is easy to kayak around with all of its beautiful landscapes and homes designed by renowned architects. The quickest paddle route to the waterfront restaurants is to paddle under the Manitou bridge and enjoy all the wildlife.

Those who want to kayak on White Bear Lake, but desire a more low-key day kayaking try Mahtomedi Beach on the east side of the lake - it offers a panoramic view of White Bear Lake as you paddle along the shore, with many small inlets and beautiful scenery.
White Bear Lake is one of the Twin Cities year-round kiteboarding, sailboating, and windsurfing lakes. Because it is an activity filled lake, you will likely see other kayakers, stand-up paddle boarders, canoes, fishing boats, water-skiers out and about on a sunny Minnesota day!

Square Lake Park is a Washington County Park and requires a vehicle permit upon entry - $7.00 per day or $30.00 for a 12-month vehicle permit. Electronic pay stations are located in each parking lot. These machines only accept credit/debit cards.

Square Lake Park is the most unique lake of all the lake locations we service. At this lake location we recommend renting the 5 hour (Expedition Rental) as you will not want to leave this lake and all it’s water activity fun!
Square Lake attracts many non-motorized activities and will allow you the space to paddle around and see the Eagles soar above and the loons playing in the water.
This family friendly park is the place to be.

Silver Lake is the smallest of our lake location drop-off sites. It is near White Bear with a 10 minute drive south to North St. Paul. This quaint little lake offers the most low-key kayaking of all the lakes we service. This is a perfect location for a family and first time kayakers.
This launch site offers a large beach, picnic tables and a playground. This lake is calm with very little boat traffic and can easily be paddled around completely in a few short hours.

Demontreville Lake is the most unique of our lake location drop-off sites, as it allows access to two lakes - Demontreville Lake and Lake Olson. They are naturally connected with an calm and easy channel for several kayaks to enter through to Lake Olson. One will find themselves in the beauty of nature as you kayak along the shores to view the beautiful lakeshore homes, hear loons calling, fawns feeding along the wooded shores, and eagles flying above.
This launch site offers limited parking (smaller parking lot). This lake is calm with little boat traffic and can easily be paddled around completely in a few short hours.
